What HowNote is building

The first HowNote tools focus on pipe and tube: weight calculations, nominal-size references and DN–NPS–A conversion. The longer-term product, HowSpec, will connect standard lookup, standard comparison, product compatibility and purchase notes.

Why the evidence labels matter

A standard identifier, a manufacturer dimension table and a calculated result are not the same kind of evidence. HowNote labels official metadata, manufacturer references, calculated values and regional aliases separately so users can see where each statement came from.

What comes next

The project will expand gradually from a small, verified pipe-size subset into more engineering calculators, converters and carefully sourced standards relationships. The goal is not to publish the largest table first. The goal is to make each published page useful, traceable and reusable.
