Current service scope
HowNote currently provides public static pages, engineering calculators and reference tables. The current version does not require a user account and does not provide a server-side project-saving feature.
Calculator inputs
Calculator and converter inputs are processed in the user’s browser. HowNote does not currently submit those values to a HowNote application database.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like other hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process request data such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser information and requested URLs to deliver, secure and diagnose the service.
Cookies and local storage
The current public version does not require advertising cookies, account cookies or server-side sessions. Future analytics, advertising or saved-preference features will be reflected in this policy before they are enabled.
When a user emails HowNote, the message and contact details are used to respond, investigate a correction or manage the inquiry. Do not send confidential technical or purchasing information until a secure process is available.
Future changes
If HowNote later introduces accounts, document uploads, saved purchase notes, analytics, advertising or third-party integrations, this policy will be updated to describe the data, purpose, retention and user choices involved.
